Base Class: Barbarian
Those born under Ruidus often find that they develop powers and capabilities otherwise thought unobtainable. Those that follow the Path of the Red Hunger find that they can tap into an ever-flowing source of rage, bolstered with the crackling mental energy that the moon is known for granting those under it's influence.
Temper Flare
Starting when you choose this path, you gain a pool of 3d12. You may use a bonus action to expend any number of these d12's, up to the maximum available to you. Roll the d12's and take the amount rolled as psychic damage, and on your next successful melee attack you add the amount rolled to the weapons damage roll. The damage taken from this ability can maintain a rage if it would otherwise end. The pool increases to 4d12 at level nine, and to 5d12 at level fifteen.
Steeltrap
At level six, your mind has hardened against the worst of the hungry whispers from Ruidus. You have advantage against being scried on, and anyone attempting to read your mind (whether through a Detect Thoughts spell or a similar ability) must make a wisdom saving throw to be able to read even your surface level thoughts without being noticed.
Feedback Loop
At tenth level the barbarian causes an aura to form in a 15-foot radius around them. All enemies that begin their turns in this radius, or those who enter the radius for the first time, must make a wisdom saving throw against the barbarian's strength dc (STR mod + 10 + Prof Bonus). On a failure, the target takes 3d6 + the barbarian's rage bonus damage and has disadvantage on ability checks and attack rolls until the end of their next turn. On a success the target only takes half damage.
Hunger Pangs
If you are targeted by a spell or ability that requires you to roll a saving throw, you can use a reaction to target the source of the ability with a mental scream of rage. The target must make a wisdom saving throw. On a success, their speed is reduced by 10 feet. On a failure, the target's speed is reduced by half and they can only do either an action or bonus action. This lasts until the beginning of the target's next turn.
