Base Class: Rogue
You have learned to sap the life energy out of the blood of your enemies, allowing you to recycle the damage from your sneak attacks for several other functions. You can use this damage to heal allies, protect yourself, protect allies and deal bonus splash damage. Later on in the class, you will even be able to deal sneak attack damage to yourself to fuel your abilities.
Drain Blood
You can turn your target’s blood into fuel for you or your allies. The first time you sneak attack against a small or larger creature, you can use your Cunning Action to restore an amount of health equal to half your sneak attack damage rounded up to yourself or an ally within 30ft of your target.
Transfusion
You gain an amount of blood vials equal to your proficiency score.
Whenever you use your Drain Blood feature, you can instead choose to transfer the health into the bottles for later use. When you have a blood vial filled, you can use your cunning action at any time to open one of the bottles and heal an ally within 30 ft for the amount that was contained in it. Once a bottle is filled, it can not be filled again until your next long rest. The contents last until your next long rest, after which the blood becomes unusable and the vials are emptied.
Blood Control
Red Vortex
Whenever you use your Drain Blood feature, you can now additionally choose to keep the blood circling around you for up to 1 minute instead. While it is circling you, you gain temporary hitpoints equal to the pool of health that you drained, as well as gaining resistance to acid damage. You can at any point use your transfusion to heal an ally. This expends all of your remaining temporary hitpoints and gives them to your target as health.
Blood Shield
If you have any blood vials filled or a Red Vortex active and an ally within 30 feet of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to use the blood to shield a portion of the attack, halving the damage they would take, rounded down.
This halves the amount of healing remaining in the pool, rounded down.
Blood Splatter
Whenever you use your Drain Blood feature, you may choose to use the blood to instead harm your enemies. Every creature within 10 feet of your target(other than your target) must roll a dex save. On a failure, they take acid damage equal to half of the damage dealt to your target, rounded up.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use this target’s blood for healing anymore.
Dangerous Game
You can use an action to roll an amount of d6’s up to the amount that you would roll for sneak attack damage and take this as necrotic damage., this damage can not be reduced in any way. You can then use this damage to fuel any of your other features, but the full amount of damage will be added to the pool instead of only half.
