The Reaper lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.
| Spell Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 1st | Inflict Wounds, Ray of Sickness |
| 2nd | Blur, Phantasmal Force |
| 3rd | Bestow Curse, Vampiric Touch |
| 4th | Blight, Phantasmal Killer |
| 5th | Antilife Shell, Cloudkill |
Reaper's Touch
Starting at 1st level, when you hit a creature with your pact weapon, you can deal an extra 1d6 necrotic damage. The creature must also succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your warlock spell save DC or have its hit point maximum reduced by the amount of necrotic damage taken. You gain temporary hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt. This reduction lasts until the creature finishes a long rest.
Ethereal Step
Starting at 6th level, you gain the ability to step into the Ethereal Plane. As a bonus action on your turn, you can slip into the Ethereal Plane, moving in any direction you choose. You can see and hear the Material Plane, but everything looks gray and ephemeral. While in the Ethereal Plane, you can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. You take 5 (1d10) force damage if you end your turn inside an object. You remain in this plane for 1 minute or until you dismiss it (no action required). Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short rest.
Mark of the Grave
Starting at 10th level, your touch carries the weight of mortality. When you hit a creature with an attack or spell, you can choose to afflict them with the mark of the grave. The next time the marked creature takes damage, it takes additional necrotic damage equal to half your warlock level (rounded up). The mark lasts for 1 minute or until the creature takes damage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Death's Embrace
Starting at 14th level, your patron grants you the power to temporarily become a specter of death. As an action, you can transform into an ethereal figure of dread, gaining the following benefits for 1 minute:
- You have resistance to all damage except force and radiant damage.
- You can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain.
- You gain a flight speed equal to your walking speed.
- Your attacks deal an additional 1d10 necrotic damage.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest. While transformed, you can't be healed or gain temporary hit points, and you can't speak or manipulate objects. You are also visible as an ethereal figure to all creatures, even those that can't normally see into the Ethereal Plane. You can end the transformation early as a bonus action on your turn.
