Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Channeling the magical powers of the God of Mischief, you are a master of charisma and dexterity. In the words of Neil Gaiman, you "make the world more interesting, but less safe."

Duplication Projection

Starting at 9th level, you learn the Mirror Image spell, and may cast it for free once per Long Rest. If a creature hits one of your Mirror Images, you may use your reaction to attack them. If you hit, you may use your Sneak Attack.

Total Insight

Being such a good trickster, you can recognize any trick in play. Starting at 13th level, you may roll a Wisdom (Insight) check with advantage to see what plan somebody has, as you anticipate their plan yourself. Your figuring out their plan gives you and anyone you tell won't believe their lies, and will always find them when they are hiding. The effect ends when the plan is stopped or carried out.

Silver Tongue

A master of the silver tongue, you are able to weave your words like magic. Starting at 3rd level, you gain Expertise in Charisma (Deception) and Charisma (Persuasion). In addition, you are able to discern other's lies from truth, for a trickster knows a trickster when they see one. You have advantage on all Wisdom (Insight) checks to detect lies.

Death Evasion

Starting at 17th level, when you take damage that reduces you to 0 hit points, roll a Dexterity saving throw, DC 15. On a success, you are instead reduced to 1 hit point, and you teleport up to 60 feet away, while leaving an illusion of your dead body wherever you were hit. The illusion acts like a real dead body. As you are hit, the illusion kicks in and you become invisible as if the Invisibility spell were just cast on you. The illusion lasts until the battlefield is empty. You may use this feature once per short rest.

At 20th level, you don't need to roll the save.

Shapeshifter

You are a master of disguise to the point where it becomes magical. Starting at 3rd level, you can use the Wild Shape feature with the following limitations:

At Level 3 - Max CR 1 - No flying/swimming speed - 3/SR

At Level 5 - Max CR 1 - No flying speed - 3/SR

At Level 7 - Max CR 2 - No flying speed - 3/SR

At Level 9 - Max CR 2 - From now on, you may use it a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus + your charisma modifier.

At Level 11 - Max CR 3

At Level 13 - Max CR 4

At Level 15 - Max CR 5

At Level 17 - Max CR 6

You can also shapeshift into a person. If you are trying to imitate an existing person, you must have seen them before and heard them before. If someone investigates you closely in this form, they can make a Wisdom (Insight) check or an Intelligence (Investigation) check contested by your Charisma (Deception) check. On a success, they can tell that you are not who you say you are.

Personality Check

You can figure out somebody's personality, deceptions, relations, and other such information. Starting at 13th level, you may roll a D20 plus your Wisdom and Charisma modifiers. This is called a "Personality Check." If the target is deliberately trying to hide information from you, the Personality Check is contested by the target's Charisma (Deception) check. If not, the DC is their Passive Perception.

To add a Personality Check into your D&D Beyond character sheet, go to the gear in your Skills page. Create a "Custom Skill" at the bottom of the Settings page. Click on that skill. For "Stat," add Wisdom. For "Misc Bonus," add your Charisma modifier. Title the skill "Personality Check." Save your skill.
