Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

As you have traveled wilderness and nature, you picked up signs of finding things and people, there are many ways to play an investigative tracker -

  • A dwarf who saved a small child from the depths of a cavern.
  • An elf who survived by hunting animals in the wilderness.
  • An aasimar who was sent by the heavens to find a fallen angle.
  • A human who worked for the city guard to rescue missing people.

Know your enemy and murderous investigator.

When you observe a creature, you look at indicators of what it's good or bad at. You can use this in 1 turn.
You find out either:
1 stat of choice
2 stats that you dont choose
if it has higher or lower hp than you
its armour class

You use 1 turn (action, bonus action and reaction) to study a corpse, finding out how it died, and if it was killed by who it was killed.

Skilled tracker.

When you track a creature, you rely on your training, knowledge, and signs of nature around you.

Rangers mark

You rely on signs of nature, and clues left behind by a creature. You use the signs to find and track a creature, after you've marked it.

Marked fury

Harnessing the magical powers of nature, and your different studies you have found it possible to use a creatures weak spots against it, pushing yourself to the brink and giving you advantage on any melee attack roll, ability check or saving throw save against the creature.
