Monk
Base Class: Monk

“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

The Weirding Way

"My mind affects my reality."

At 3rd level, you learn to alter your perception of reality, and thus undergo a dramatic shift in your concepts of both space-time, and cause and effect. You can maneuver around and strike an opponent at unimaginable speeds. To the opponent (and any bystanders) the movement seems almost like close-quarter teleportation. If you expend any amount of Ki points on your turn, you can perform any of the following feats (no action required):

  • You can teleport to any location within 20 feet of you that you can see.
  • You can teleport to a space within 5 feet of a creature you are already within 5 feet of. If you do so, you can make an attack against that creature.
  • On one attack you make during the turn, you can chose another target for the attack within 10 feet of the original target, and make a single attack roll against both, effects such as Stunning Strike can effect both targets if both targets are hit.

The Voice

"To use raw power is to make yourself infinitely vulnerable to greater powers."

At 6th level, you learn a subtle manipulation of vocal tones an audio-neuro control mechanism that enables the manipulation of speech to achieve complete control over an enemy. You learn to cast the following spells with no components other than verbal by expending a Ki point. Once per turn, you can forgo an attack to cast one of these spells, and spells cast this way ignore immunity to the charmed condition:

  • Command
  • Suggestion

At 11th level, you learn Mass Suggestion and in addition, you can target up to 12 creatures simultaneously when you cast the command spell. You also add twice your proficiency bonus to the save DC of the spells granted by this subclass.

Mind and Body

“The mind commands the body and is instantly obeyed. The mind commands itself and meets resistance. The mind commands the hand to move, and it so easy that one hardly distinguishes the order from its execution. Yet mind is mind and hand is body."

Beginning at 11th level, you master ancient practices and exercises, and ultimately gain complete understanding and control of both your mind and body. You gain the two following features:

Prana-Bindu Position:
As an action, you can enter a state of semi-conscious bodily suspension. While in this state, you are restrained and incapacitated, and you cannot be immune to these conditions. In addition, you regain 5 hitpoints and 1 Ki point every minute, and you do not require food, water, air, rest or sleep. You do not age while in this state. You awaken from this state if you chose to (no action required), or if you take damage which breaks your concentration (As though concentrating on a spell).

Prescience:
Your consciousness ascends to a higher level of awareness, transcending concepts of time, knowledge and causality. Glimpses of the past and future press in on your awareness. A number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest, you can chose to add a bonus equal to your wisdom modifier to a check or saving throw, in addition, you gain the following features:

  • You know when you hear a lie.
  • You gain blindsight for a distance of 15 feet, and you know the location of creatures with 15 feet of you, even through full cover.
  • When you cast a spell granted by this subclass, you can chose that creatures which fail the saving throw of the spell are frightened of you until the end of the spell's duration.

The Reverend

At 17th level, you have completed many agonizing years of intellectual, physical, and psychological training in the Bene Gesserit way, and undergo a dangerous ritual that wherein you absorb the spice agony, unlocking memories of your past ancestors and enhancing your existing skills.

Ancestral Memories:
You gain expertise in a skill of your choice, you can change what this expertise is each time you complete a long rest.

Weirding Mastery:
When you expend a Ki point on your turn, you can use two feats from The Weirding Way instead of one. You can chose the same feat twice. In addition, you no longer forgo an attack in order to cast a spell granted by this subclass, and you can instead cast one, no action required, once per turn if you have taken the attack action.

Voice Expertise:
Spells granted by this subclass are non-magical, and cannot be countered. In addition, when you cast the command spell, you can speak a short phrase rather than a single word.

Perfect Prescience:
When you spend 1 minute observing and conversing with a creature, you can learn their hitpoints, hitpoint maximum, ability scores, proficiencies, and any information they would freely share with an acquaintance.
