Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your innate magic comes from the all consuming power of elemental fire. Perhaps you were born near a portal to the Plane of Fire, or perhaps one of your ancestors did an efreet a good turn. Whatever the reason, the magic of this fire burns deep in your core.

Inner Fire

Starting at 1st level, The arcane magic you command is infused with elemental fire. You can speak, read, and write the Ignan dialect of Primordial. Knowing this language allows you to understand and be understood by those who speak its other dialects: Aquan, Auran, and Terran.

Additionally, you can cause an attacker who did damage to you with an attack role to burn for 1d6 damage. Starting at level 6, This damage causes them to be Wreathed In Flame.

Wreathed In Flame

You gain resistance to fire damage. Additionally, whenever a target takes damage from an attack role, or fails a saving throw against a cantrip or spell that deals fire damage, that target is considered Wreathed In Flame until the end of your next turn. Once per round, when you deal fire damage to a target who is Wreathed In Flame, you may deal fire damage equal to your spell casting modifier. As a part of this damage, you may spend a number of sorcery points up to your spell casting modifier, and deal that many d6 worth of fire damage. Your Inner Fire can benefit from this damage.

Searing Pain

Starting at 14th level, your control of fire damage spells now allows you to undercut resistance and immunity. any creature that would normally be resistant is not, and any creature that would normally be immune is considered resistant.

Burned Through

At 18th level, you gain immunity to fire damage.

Once per round, when you deal fire damage to an enemy that is Wreathed In Flame, you can spend 5 sorcery points to cause them to be vulnerable to this damage. This vulnerability stacks with Searing Pain, so if a creature would normally be immune, it simply loses this immunity.
