Base Class: Ranger
The Windstrider is a subclass of Ranger designed for winged races that can soar through the skies. These rangers harness the power of the wind to enhance their mobility, strike from above with deadly precision, and navigate the skies with unparalleled grace. They are the masters of aerial combat and excel in scouting, hit-and-run tactics, and swift strikes against their foes.
Windborne Agility
Starting at 3rd level, you gain the ability to harness the power of the wind to enhance your agility. Your flying speed increases by 10 feet, and you can move through non-magical difficult terrain without expending extra movement while flying.
Gust of Wind
At 7th level, you gain the ability to harness the power of the wind to create a powerful gust that manipulates your movement and controls the battlefield. You learn the Gust of Wind spell, which doesn't count against your number of spells known. It becomes a ranger spell for you and is always prepared. You can cast Gust of Wind without expending a spell slot. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
Windborne Mastery
Starting at 11th level, your wings become infused with the essence of the wind, granting you extraordinary maneuverability and speed. Your flying speed increases by an additional 10 feet.
Windsong Mastery
At 15th level, you have mastered the harmonies of the wind, allowing you to manipulate its power through your music. You gain the ability to cast the Storm Sphere spell once per long rest without expending a spell slot. Additionally, when you cast Storm Sphere using this feature, it becomes a bonus action to cast instead of an action.
