Base Class: Cleric
Pollution domain clerics see it as their mission to bend nature to their will, paving the way for methods of worship that seem foul to most. Gods of discord and chaos drive sects of their worshippers to desecrate the very ground that they walk on, creating havens for those who carry a unique perspective on beauty.
Bonus Proficiency
When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with martial weapons and medium armor.
Acolyte of Desecration
Also starting at 1st level, your technique reeks of foul magic. A number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier per short rest when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can force it to roll a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed saving throw, a creature is restrained for 1 minute. A creature can repeat this saving throw at the end of its turns, ending the effect on a successful saving throw.
Channel Divinity: Pollute Vicinity
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to spread your faith's unorthodox influence.
As an action, you present your holy symbol and evoke pollution.
A number of times per long rest equal to your Wisdom modifier, you can desecrate the area around you in a 10-foot radius sphere. This range increases to 15 feet at level 5, 20 feet at level 9, 25 feet at level 13, and 30 feet at level 17.
Non-magical plant life within the area dies within a number of hours equal to 10 minus your proficiency bonus. Creatures apart from you are considered poisoned whilst they remain in the polluted area.
The area cannot be cleaned up with spells like prestidigitation, but it can be sanitized by hand in a number of hours equal to your proficiency bonus.
Pestilential Successor
Beginning at 6th level, you follow in the footsteps of great fomenters of discord. You gain an extra attack. Whenever you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you are considered immune to poison and disease until the beginning of your next turn.
Divine Strike
At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with divisive energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 necrotic damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
It's All So Damn Beautiful
Starting at 17th level, your mastery of pollution blooms into vivacious power. A number of times per long rest equal to half of your proficiency bonus, you can use an action to cast teleport without using a spell slot, but your target has to be an area that is affected by your Channel Divinity: Pollute Vicinity ability.
If you have not visited the affected area for at least 24 hours, the GM rolls a d100. On a 1-25, the area is no longer affected.
