Monk
Base Class: Monk

You have learned to become one with the Wind of the West, and have begun to master its fluid and swift movements, and apply them to your own being.

This will include bonuses to your Step of the Wind ability, as well as allow you to cast mobility spells such as Haste and Fly at will, at higher levels.

It will also include bonuses using your Ki points to increase your Flurry of Blows ability, your AC Bonus, or gain Temporary Hit Points.

Step of the West Wind

You can spend 1 ki point to take the Disengage or Dash action as a bonus action on your turn, and your jump distance is doubled for the turn.

With Step of the West Wind, when you spend 1 ki point to activate your Step of the Wind ability, you may spend an additional 5 ki points to increase your movement speed by 5 times your Monk level until the beginning of your next turn.

One With the Air

Additionally, when you reach 6th level, you may spend 3 additional ki points to cast the Haste spell, requiring no material components. At 11th level, you may spend 5 additional ki points to cast the Fly spell, requiring no material components. At 17th level, you are no longer required to spend additonal ki points to cast these spells, and may do so at will after activating your Step of the West Wind ability.

Graceful Guide

Beginning at 3rd level you may use the currents of the wind around you to correct mistakes in your actions.

You may use the West Wind to forcibly reroll an attack roll, you must use the new roll. You may do this a number of times equal to your Monk level divided by 3 (rounded down).

Fury of the West

Flurry of Blows

Immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 1 ki point to make two unarmed strikes as a bonus action.

Fury of the West

Additionally, after spending 1 ki point to activate Flurry of Blows, you may spend additional ki points to continue making attacks with either your Monk weapon or unarmed strike. For each attack you intend to make using this ability, you will spend that number in ki points, increasing as you go. 1 attack action costs 1 ki point to make, the 2nd attack costs 2 ki points, the 3rd costs 3, and so on.

Steeling Breeze

At level 11 you have studied the air currents that surround your very body, and learned to use them to your advantage.

As a reaction you may spend any number of ki points and raise your Armor Class by 1 for every 3 ki points spent.

Eye of the Storm

Wild, voracious winds whip around the area, everywhere except for where you stand. In the eye of the storm, there is quiet. A calming presence, that soothes those around you, and devastates those beyond.

In a 20ft radius centered on you, all air effects are cleared, such as Fog Cloud, Stinking Cloud, etc., and are unable to be recast for 1 minute after this ability is activated. Additionally, you gain a pool of temporary hit points equal to 3 times your Monk level +5. These may be given to any creature within the 20ft radius once this ability is activated, and then as a bonus action while this ability is still active.

In a radius from 20ft to 50ft out, centered on you, the air around you causes difficult terrain, and gives disadvantage to any ranged weapon attacks.

Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you've had a long rest.
