Base Class: Sorcerer
There are few places more magically charged in the material plane than the sites of ancient battles. The raw forces of life and death struggle on a scale found nowhere else. Archmages, battle priests, and choirs of lesser spellcasters rain supernatural artillery on enemy forces. Over the course of days or even hours, a location's very nature becomes one of intense magical essence. You or one of your ancestors was touched by such a place. Perhaps you grew up near a legendary battlefield, and your powers are seen as a gift of figures of lore. Or maybe your father survived a conflict in such a place, leaving you touched. Whatever the cause, the magic of war flows through your veins.
