Monk
Base Class: Monk

A monk should flow through the battlefield, taking the path of least resistance and arriving at the simplest conclusion - their enemies on the ground. A monk who follows the Way of Flowing Water moves with the grace of a mountain stream, and strikes with the unexpected force of a tsunami.

Flowing River Stance

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn to move through combat with ease. Other creatures' spaces are not difficult terrain for you, and when you use Step of the Wind you can move through hostile creature's spaces this turn.

Waterfall Barrage

Also at 3rd level, you can batter your enemies with an endless stream of hits. When you use Flurry of Blows and both attacks hit, you can make one additional unarmed strike as part of the same bonus action. If it hits, the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw against your ki save DC or fall prone.

Whirl of Ki

When you reach 6th level, you gain the ability to recycle and redirect the energy of your opponents' strikes. Whenever a hostile creature misses you with an attack, if you spent at least one ki point on your last turn, you regain 1 ki point.

Form of Water

At 11th level, the flow of ki through you has started to alter your physical characteristics, causing you to appear like the fluid you emulate. Each time you spend one or more ki points, choose one, which lasts until the next time you spend one or more ki points:

Mountain Spring. You have the purity of meltwater running off the hills. You have advantage on Constitution, Wisdom and Charisma saving throws.

Crashing Wave. You have the power of a huge sea swell. Once on each of your turns when you roll damage for an unarmed strike, you can reroll up to one damage die and use the higher roll.

Babbling Brook. The way you move is distracting. You don't provoke opportunity attacks, and you gain one additional reaction each round.

Rising Tide

As you reach 17th level, the momentum you build in battle is unstoppable. Once on each of your turns when you hit a prone or stunned creature with an unarmed strike, you can expend a ki point to turn the hit into a critical hit.
