Base Class: Sorcerer
The Child of Prophecy has been foretold in legend for centuries, with the tale being passed down generation to generation. The tale that one day, a hero would rise to either save the world from an tyrant seeking domination, or doom it to her will.
Branching Fate
Starting at level one, you can see different branching strands of fate and pluck out those strands that best suit you.
At the end of a Long Rest, roll a number of d20 equal to your proficiency bonus, and write each separate result down. You may choose to This is your Fate Pool.
If you wish, you can then re-roll all of these dice, but if you do, roll one less d20. You can continue re-rolling all of the dice in this manner, rolling one less D20 each time you do, until you are satisfied with the results rolled. This cannot allow you to have negative dice in your Fate Pool.
Before making an Ability Check, Saving Throw, Attack Roll, or Death Save, you may instead choose to use one number from your Fate Pool to replace that d20 roll. Remove that number from your Fate Pool. Your Fate Pool resets on a long rest.
Scrying Eye
Starting at 6th level, you begin to hone in on each branching strand of fate, and pick out the best course. Once per short rest, when using a die from your Fate Pool, you may instead turn a number you use into a 20. This counts as a critical success for the purposes of Attack Rolls.
Portent
Once per short rest, you may cast Augury at will with no spell components as a bonus action.
Twist of Fate
Starting at 14th level, you begin to understand the flow of the Aether, and how best to bend time and fate around your enemies. Before an enemy rolls an Attack Roll, Saving Throw, or Ability Check, you may replace the result with a die from your Fate Pool. Subtract that result from your Fate Pool.
Destiny’s Champion
You begin to finally master the abilities granted to you by Shornas, seeing each and every branching timeline as a river to move with, not against.
Starting at 18th level, you know the Foresight spell. Once per Long Rest, you may cast Foresight on yourself, as an action, using no spell components or spell slot.
