Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

With the mass use of surveillance cameras, facial recognition software, and biometric data becoming the norm, killing people without getting caught is more difficult than ever. Of course the desire for such acts hasn't fallen in the rising times, and so some individuals have decided to capitalize on the ever increasing demand. Whether it be through a government agency,  a hacktivist group, or self taught skill, watchdog's are individuals who know have to manipulate the modern age and its commodity's, using the very systems designed to protect as a means of tighten the noose around their prey. Swift, efficient, and faceless killers,  Watchdogs are always on the hunt for their prey, hunting their foes through the deepest reaches of the web. To others they may seem super human, but the watchdogs live by a much simpler motto: "all you need to change the world is a guy, a gun, and a phone."

Key's to the Castle

The world is a lock and your smartphone is the key

Upon taking this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in hacking tools.  Additionally, you  have developed a specialized code that allows you to interact with  the digital world. By spending an hour of downtime with a smartphone, you can turn it into your Skeleton key.  Your skeleton key can function as hackers tools, though they can interact with an electronic object you can see from a distance equal to your proficiency bonus x10ft.

Digital death mark

A not so digital death threat

The internet tells all, including how to counter your foes. As a bonus action, you make an Intelligence (hacking tools) check against a creature you can see that isn't incapacitated, contested by the target's Charisma (Deception) check. If you succeed, you can use your Sneak Attack against that target even if you don't have advantage on the attack roll, but not if you have disadvantage on it. In addition your attacks with handguns/revolvers don't have disadvantage if your within 5ft of the target of your digital death mark.

For this to work, you must have your Skeleton key equipped in one hand.

Extra attack

Two shots is always better than one

You may attack twice with a revolver/handgun on your turn. You may only apply sneak attack once as usual.

Digital detonation

A bang for your buck

Your skeleton key has been granted the ability to cause destruction out side of the physical world,  with a truly explosive result. As an action, you can detonate one small explosive you can see within 100ft of you. A small explosive would be considered something akin grenade, C4, ammunition for a shoulder mounted rocket launcher, but the exact classification is up to the Dm. If this grenade is being worn, used, or carried by a creature, the creature must make an intelligence saving throw, (Dc= 8+ proficiency+ int). On a failed save the explosive goes off. On a successful save nothing happens

You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and get them back on a long rest.
