Base Class: Monk
A way of fighting that incorporates analyzing an opponent's weak points depending on their movement patterns, stature and stances. This style of fighting attempts to strike those weak points brutally with precision strikes to make it harder for the opponent to retaliate.
Analyze
Concentration: Indefinite
Range: 30 ft.
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your bonus action to study your opponents movements, body shape among others. You can accurately estimate its weight, height and size class. You can only be analyzing one opponent at a time. Your unarmed strikes deal an additional 1d4 bludgeoning damage against an analyzed target. Requires sight of the target. The Monk gains advantage on grapples and throws against the target and can shove creatures of Medium size or smaller up to 10 feet after an attack.
Brutal Strikes
At 6th level, your first hit on an opponent each turn will be aimed at a weak point or joint. The enemy has to make a Constitution saving throw (STR mod + Dex mod + 10 save) or be at a disadvantage whenever attempting to use the hit body part.
The monk can spend one ki point to make an additional strike aimed at a weak point or joint.
Counterstrike
Starting at 11th level, when an enemy rolls an attack dice to strike the Monk and rolls a number lower than the Monk's AC, the Monk can choose to either quickly punch or kick the enemy that just missed him. After rolling an attack dice and connecting, the attack deals 1d4 + DEX mod in bludgeoning damage. The other option is that the Monk uses their reaction to grapple the enemy. The Monk can not counter attack while grappled, restrained, prone or in any other way incapacitated. Counter attacking to an attack from behind is possible, but the monk incurs a disadvantage on this attack roll.
A monk can counterattack twice per turn, or spend ki points to counter attack more often.
Ebb and Flow
Monks of the White Tiger train to achieve perfection in both body and mind. Starting at 8th level, whenever the Monk scores a natural 20 or a critical hit on an action that involves striking an object or adversary, the monk regains 1 ki point.
Shattering Strikes
Starting at 17th level, the monk strikes with such force that every one of his strikes has the ability to damage a creature's armor. The monk now critically hits when rolling a 19 as well, on top of a natural 20. Scoring a critical hit will permanently reduce the target's armor class by 1, for every critical hit.
Perfection's ki regeneration mechanic now also activates when rolling a 19 for a crit, and now refunds two ki points.
