Monk
Base Class: Monk

The followers of this martial path must master the use of ki to modify themselves, granting extraordinary power and the ability to befuddle and confuse foes.

Wukong's arts allows the user to use all manner of tricks and techniques to control and traverse the battlefield. A true master can even learn to change form.

Spirit of the Monkey King

Whenever a feature requires the target to make a save, the save DC equals 8 + your Dex modifier + your Wisdom Modifier.

Trickster's Hand

When you choose this path at level 3, you gain proficiency in the Slight of Hand skill, as the mischievous nature of the monkey king becomes second nature to you.

Whenever you use your Flurry of Blows, you may use one of the attacks to make a feint. Instead of rolling an attack, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the target pulls away, deceived by your feint, and cannot use reactions until the end of your next turn. Any creature with 6 or less Wisdom automatically succeeds the save, as they don't have the understanding of the implied attack. Undead, non-sentient constructs, and creatures more than one size larger than you will also automatically make the save.

Vassal of the Monkey King

Cloudwalker

At sixth level, you gain the ability to move yourself along currents of mystic energy, conjoining your very essence to the air around you. You have 4 uses of this ability. You are granted 2 additional uses at 11th level and two more at 17th levels. All uses are restored after a long rest.

You can use this ability one of the following ways:

Mist Leap-When you use your Step of the Wind feature, you may consume 1 use of this feature to cast Levitate on yourself as a free action. This lasts for a number of turns equal to your wisdom modifier

Clone Step-As a reaction, when attacked by a creature within 5 ft of you, you may use your reaction to consume 2 uses of this ability, casting Misty Step on yourself. The enemy instead strikes a false image of you created from fog, which breaks and disperses. The enemy that attacks this way must succeed a wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the enemy is briefly confused, and immediately ends its turn.

Visual Trickery

When you get this feature at level 6, you can use an action to spend 2 ki points to cast Disguise Self. This effect ends whenever you take damage or lose consciousness.

Champion of the Monkey King

Superior Technique

You can add your proficiency modifier to any damage roll dealt with unarmed strikes or monk weapons.

Thousand Forms

As a bonus action, you may spend 3 ki points to cast Reduce/Enlarge on yourself. While under the Reduce effect, your AC is increased by 2, as you become more evasive. While under the Enlarge effect, you gain temporary hit points equal to your monk level + your wisdom modifier, as your greater strength of body and will inure you to damage.

As an action, you may spend 4 ki points to cast polymorph on yourself.

While under the effect of any spell or magical effect that changes your shape or form, your mental stats are not affected.

 Improved Cloudwalker

You gain 2 additional uses of your Cloudwalker feature.

As an action, you can use 3 uses of your Cloudwalker feature to cast Fly on yourself. As you do, you are wreathed in swirling clouds, which carry you about the battlefield. You have advantage on saving throws made to maintain this spell.

Essence of the Monkey King

Immortal Legend

You cannot die of old age.

When dealt damage from an attack by a creature that is within 5 ft of you, you can use your reaction to negate the damage, and gain temporary hit points equal to the amount of damage negated this way. These last for up to 1 minute.

Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest.

Martial Genius

The first time per turn that you make an unarmed attack, you have advantage on the attack.

Master of Forms

Whenever under an effect that changes your form or size, you gain +15 movement if you are smaller than your normal form, or gain 5d8 additional temporary hit points. This effect lasts until your form changes again or until your form reverts to normal.
