Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Some barbarians are cursed with a rage fueled by their battle spirit. Barbarians who follow the Path of the Battle-Bound use their skills in to control the battle, before the battle controls them. They are skilled fighters who loose track of themselves in their rages, only releasing it once their need has been fulfilled.

Battlelust

Beginning at 3rd level, your need for battle grows the longer you are in a rage and your desperation to end the battle alongside it. It strengthens your attacks the weaker you become. While raging, when you drop below your hit point maximum you deal an additional 1d6 damage. This increases to 1d8 at a half of your hit point maximum, and 1d10 at below a quarter

Every turn, before your first attack, you must roll a Wisdom saving throw to see if your battle lust over takes you. It becomes more difficult to control the lower your health becomes. When you are below your hit point maximum you must roll a DC 8, at below half of your hit point maximum you must roll a DC 12, and a DC 16 at below a quarter. If you fail the throw, you must target a random creature on the field. You may attack normally for the remainder of your turn. You also gain proficiency in Wisdom Saving Throws

This increases to, respectively, 2d6, 2d8, and 2d10 at 8th level, and 3d6, 3d8, and 3d10 at 14th level

Mindless Fighter

At 6th level, your mind becomes so focused on fighting while in rage you can be neither charmed nor frightened. Your lack of thought on anything else grants you resistance to psychic damage.

Battler's Cry

At 10th level you can let out a war cry ferocious enough to make a number of creatures equal to half of your Intimidation modifier (minimum of one), rounded down, make a Wisdom saving throw with a DC (DC {{savedc:cha}}. If they fail the save they become frightened for one minute. They may also choose to repeat the save at the end of each of their turns, and if they succeed, the effect ends early. You may use this once per rage.

Second Swing

Starting at 14th level, when you miss a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your brute strength to swing back around and reroll the attack. You may use this feature a number of times equal to half of your Strength modifier per rage.
