Druid
Base Class: Druid

The mysterious members of the Circle of the Fireflies commune in a swamp. It is easy to get lost there, and the Circle guides the innocent out of the soggy depths, whilst misleading those who are unworthy.

Willow Wisp

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you learn the cantrip Dancing Lights. If you already have this cantrip, choose one additional cantrip of your choice from the druid spell list.

Firefly Wisp

Starting at 2nd level, the fireflies of the swamp have given you a blessing. After finishing a long rest, you may summon a Will-o'-Wisp if you expend a spell slot of 1st level or higher if you don't already have a Will-o'-Wisp summoned.

The Will-o'-Wisp is friendly to you but not your allies. During combat, the Will-o'-Wisp acts independent of you (the DM controls it), but it will obey your verbal commands (no action required), albeit trying to twist your words. to suit its own purpose. The Wisp can communicate with you telepathically if it is within 30ft of you. You can use your action to share this telepathic bond with another creature within 5ft of you for 10min once per short/long rest. The Wisp also knows the cantrip Dancing Lights.

If the Wisp dies, you can summon it again after your next long rest.

Circle Spells

The essence of the Will-o'-Wisps of the swamp grants you the ability to cast certain spells. At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to circle spells which allow you to guide and mislead those you need to.

Once you gain access to a circle spell, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

Circle of Fireflies Spells:
Druid Level Spells

3rd

faerie fire, fog cloud

5th

Smoke Lights

Misleading enemies with smoke and fog seems to come naturally to you now. If a visible enemy makes a weapon attack roll trageting an ally creature within 30ft of you, you can use your reaction to summon a veil of fog and dancing lights around the creature being attacked, imposing disadvantage on the attack roll. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you take a short or long rest.

Wisps of the Swamp

When you reach 10th level, you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened, and you are immune to poison and disease.

In addition, you can have 2 additional summoned Will-o'-Wisps from your Firefly Wisp feature at one time (you can still only summon one per long rest).

Swamp Glider

You permanently gain the benefits of a water walk as long as the liquid you are trying to walk on is water.
