Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Most rogues who fall under the archetype of the cutpurse do not do so by choice. This archetype is a lifestyle lived by those who are less fortunate, a means of survival in an oppressive world.

Conceal the Blade

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, You may choose one finesse, light, or ranged weapon to be your Hidden Weapon. You may spend a short rest devising a way to fully conceal the chosen weapon on your person. The method of concealing your weapon is up to you; it could be done mechanically, magically, or by other means. You cannot be disarmed of a Hidden Weapon, it cannot be looted from you, and it may be used even if both of your hands are occupied or unable to be used. You may only have one Hidden Weapon at a time, but you may change which of your weapons is your Hidden Weapon during a short or long rest. Finally, you are considered as having "expertise" with your Hidden Weapon: when you make an attack roll with your hidden weapon, add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll an additional time, and add it to the damage roll as well.

For abilities that force a target to make a saving throw against your Hidden Weapon, the DC equals 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus.

Sneak Attack: Hidden Weapon

You gain an additional way to use your Sneak Attack; You do not need advantage on the attack roll to use your Sneak Attack if you are making the attack roll with your Hidden Weapon, and the target has not yet been dealt damage by your Hidden Weapon this combat.

Subdue the Mark

When you deal Sneak Attack damage to a target creature with your Hidden Weapon, you may force the target to make a Constitution saving throw against your Hidden Weapon DC. Upon a failure, the target is stunned until the end of your next turn. Upon a success, the target is not stunned and a use of this feature is not expended. You may use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your Proficiency bonus.

Catch the Slip

When you fail a Sleight of Hand check while attempting to steal or plant an item, you may expend a use of this feature to reroll the check. You may use this feature multiple times on a single check, as long as you are expending a use of this feature for each reroll. You may use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your Dexterity modifier.

Cut the Strings

Target a creature that is within range of your Hidden Weapon. As a bonus action, you may attempt to remove an item from the target creature’s possession or disarm them of a weapon they’re wielding. The target makes a Dexterity saving throw against your Hidden Weapon DC. If the item you’re attempting to remove is one they’re wielding or have equipped, then +1d4 is added to the target’s saving throw.

Upon a failure, the item is removed from the target’s possession. If you are within melee distance of the target, you may choose to gain possession of the item. If you choose not to gain possession of it, or if you are at a ranged distance from the target, then they are disarmed of the item and it falls to the ground at their feet.

Dodge the Gaze

You can take a Reaction at the end of another creature’s turn in combat. As part of this reaction, you may do any number of the following: make an attack roll against a creature, move up to half your movement speed (rounded down), and take the Disengage, Hide, or Interact with an Object action. These can be done in any order.
