Base Class: Druid
The Circle of the Arborium consists of environmentalists, conservationists, and others who are deeply passionate about maintaining and restoring nature in balance with civilization. Members of this circle encourage the expansion of green spaces in artificial areas as well as prevent the encroachment and destruction of natural spaces. As a member of this circle, you gain your power through the elements that encourage the development of life.
Natural Shape
Starting at 2nd level, you can instead use your Wild Shape feature to stimulate the land around you. For 10 minutes, the ground in a 10-foot radius around you becomes difficult terrain. This feature follows your movement. Creatures of your choice are immune to this effect. While this feature is active, you can use your Bonus Action to attempt to entangle a creature. The creature must make a strength saving throw against your spell DC or be restrained. A creature who is prone has disadvantage on this save. While restrained, spellcasting requiring somatic components is restricted. A creature remains restrained until the feature ends, it is no longer within the radius of the feature, or it uses an action to try and break free, in which it must make a strength check against your spell DC. You can have a number of enemies restrained at the same time equal to your proficiency modifier.
Circle Spells
Your connection to flora infuses you with the ability to cast certain spells. At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to circle spells connected to flora.
Once you gain access to a circle spell, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

Plant Whisperer
When you reach 6th level, your connection with flora allows you to interact with them. You can cast speak with plants at will.
Shared Burden
When you reach 6th level, your connection with flora grows, and your Natural Shape is enhanced. You may use your action to siphon the vitality of any creatures you have restrained using your Natural Shape feature. The target must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell DC, taking 2d6 poison damage and becoming poisoned on a failed save. Creatures resistant or immune to poison take piercing damage instead. This damage is magical in nature. You may then choose to heal a creature of your choice within the effect of your Natural Shape for the amount of damage dealt as part of that same action.
Shape Expansion
Starting at 10th level, the radius of your Natural Shape increases to 20 feet, and when you try to restrain a creature, you can attempt to restrain a second creature at the same time. Additionally, while Natural Shape is active, at the beginning of your turn, you and any creatures of your choice gain temporary hit points equal to 5 + your Wisdom modifier.
Natural Protection
When you reach 14th level, when you are hit by an attack or affected by a spell, you can use your reaction to become resistant to the damage type used in that attack or spell provided your Natural Shape is active. This resistance lasts until Natural Shape ends. This reaction can be used once per Natural Shape.
