At the 11th level, you gain the ability to briefly phase through the ethereal plane.

As a bonus action, you can spend 2 ki points to cast the etherealness spell on yourself, without requiring concentration. This allows you to move through solid objects and creatures, and you are unaffected by environmental hazards while in the ethereal plane. This effect lasts for 1 minute, and you regain the ability to use it again after you finish a short or long rest.

Judgment of the Myojin

At the 17th level, your strikes become infused with the power of the spirits themselves. When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike or monk weapon attack, you can spend 3 ki points to unleash the wrath of the Kami. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your monk spell save DC. On a failed save, the target takes an additional 8d8 damage. On a successful save, the target takes half damage.

The damage type is determined by the type of Kami you choose when you gain this feature. If the target is an undead or fiend, it has disadvantage on the saving throw. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
