Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

The Vampire Pact Warlock is a subclass that offers players a dark and mysterious path to channel the chilling powers of the undead. By forging a pact with a vampire, Warlocks gain access to a host of vampiric abilities, becoming creatures of the night themselves.

Drawing inspiration from the eerie legends of vampires, this subclass allows Warlocks to embrace their shadowy nature. With the powers bestowed upon them by their vampiric patron, they gain heightened senses, enhanced speed, and even the ability to transform into a more vampiric form.

As a Vampire Pact Warlock, you harness the dark forces of the undead to your advantage. You can siphon the life force of fallen enemies, replenishing your own health in moments of triumph. Your connection to the shadows grants you the gift of darkvision, allowing you to see clearly where others would flounder.

At the pinnacle of your power, you gain the ability to transform into a vampire-like form. This transformation imbues you with supernatural abilities—enhanced senses, incredible speed, the ability to climb walls, and even the power to make vampiric bites. Your attacks become more formidable, and you have the ability to Misty Step, disappearing into shadows and reappearing elsewhere with ease.

With your vampiric powers, you become both a feared predator and an invaluable asset to your party. Whether you choose to use your abilities for good, evil, or a murky blend of both is up to you. But beware, for even as you wield the powers of the night, you must also navigate the challenges that come with embracing darkness, temptation, and the allure of immortality.

Shadow Sight

Starting at 1st level, you gain darkvision up to a range of 60 feet. Additionally, you can cast the spell Detect Thoughts once per long rest without expending a spell slot.

Siphon Vampiric Energy

At 1st level, you learn how to siphon the life force of others. When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you regain hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your warlock level.

Vampiric Resilience

At 6th level, you gain resistance to necrotic damage. Additionally, when you use your Siphon Vampiric Energy feature, you gain temporary hit points equal to half the damage dealt.

Vampiric Transformation

At 10th level, you can transform yourself into a vampire-like form. As an action, you gain benefits such as heightened senses, increased speed, and the ability to climb walls. This form lasts for 1 minute and can be used once per long rest.

- Enhanced Senses: Your senses become heightened, granting you advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

- Supernatural Speed: Your movement speed increases by 10 feet for the duration of the transformation.

- Climbing Ability: You gain the ability to climb walls and other vertical surfaces without needing a check. You can also move across ceilings at half your normal speed, leaving your hands free to take other actions.

- Vampiric Bite: While transformed, once per turn, when you hit with a melee attack, you can choose to make it a vampiric bite. The target you hit must make a Constitution saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC. On a failed save, the target takes the normal damage from the attack, and you regain hit points equal to half of the damage dealt. On a successful save, the target takes normal damage, but you do not regain hit points.

- Misty Step: Once during the duration of transformation, you can use Misty Step as a bonus action without expending a spell slot. You also gain the ability to cast Misty Step at-will while in dim light or darkness.

Eternal Servant

At 14th level, you gain the ability to create an undead servant to aid you. You can cast the Animate Dead spell once per long rest without expending a spell slot. The undead creature you create using this feature has additional bonuses based on your proficiency bonus (e.g., increased hit points, damage, etc.).
