The Way of Life's Balance Monk follow a path preserve the delicate balance of the universe. Monks of this order see the universe not as right or wrong but as a scale of life and death. They know that perfect balance is nigh impossible but preform actions to stop the scales of the universe from falling too far down one path or the other. If an area tips too far in the scales of death they will come and provide health and life to the people. If an area tips too far in the scales of life they will come and enact actions that will lower the populace. All in the name to preserve the ever shifting Balance of life.

Balance of Life

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can Heal from your monk attacks, and sacrifice your health to heal another creatures.

You gain the ability to empower your strike to transfer ki from the enemy to yourself.Any time you use a Ki point to make an  Attack action, you are able to heal yourself for half the damage you deal with the Ki empowered attack.

By spending a ki point you are able to transfer any amount of your current max health -1, to a creature, having the monk suffer that amount of damage to themselves as they heal the creature.

you are able to spend an additonal Ki point to reduce the damage the monk takes to transfer health by 1d4 at level 3, 2d4 at level 6, 3d4 at level 11, 4d4 at level 17. You are able to use up to 3 ki points to reduce damage.

 

Balanced Soul

At 6th level, you gain the ability to channel your ki to sync with the flow of the universe. You are able to spend 2 ki points to take an action to set your health to the amount of half your health

you must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again.

 

Balance of Death

At 11th level, you can deal damage from your monk attacks, and sacrifice your health to damage another creatures.

You gain the ability to empower your strike to transfer ki from the yourself to the  enemy.Any time you use a Ki point to make an  Attack action and hit, you are able to  increase the damage by 2d8 necrotic damage per ki point used, the monk takes damage for any amount of extra necrotic damage done. 

you are able to increase the attack's damage by spending additional ki point a max of 3 increasing damage by 2d8 each.

you are able to spend a Ki point to reduce the damage the monk takes by 1d4 +Wis at level 11,  2d4 +Wis at level 17.

 

Shift the Balance

At 17th level, you able to take the balance of the universe in your own hands. you are able to cast the Spells

Raise dead by expending 3 ki points without the need for material components,

or

Finger of death by expending 3 ki points, however if an enemy dies from this attack they are not revived as an undead, you do not gain health from Balance of life when using Finger of death
