Base Class: Bard
Anok bards, commonly known as Anok-ists, are bards with an insatiable desire for freedom and liberty. They are rebels fighting for a cause, and they will do whatever is in their power to reach their goals. To them, music is their freedom.
Deviating from the typical graceful and likeable nature bards are known for, Firebrands tend to care less about appearing well-kept, rejecting the dominant idea of beauty and embracing the grotesque. They never cease to shock and turn heads, attracting curious and often disapproving looks while in public. Despite this, there are many who will admire them and their bold, confrontational statements.

Being perfectly able to hold your own, you become proficient with unarmed strikes and your damage is increased to d4. It increases to 1d6 at 5th level, and 1d8 at 10th, and 1d10 at 15th level. You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls for your unarmed strikes.
You also gain proficiency with improvised weapons.
Thunderous Noise
Your musical instrument is empowered by the fury of your muse becoming lethal in melee as well as to tyrannical ears. You unleash the primal fury of sound itself, surrounding your instrument with an sparking aura. As an attack, you can make your instrument sizzle with your power, then slam it into a target creature doing 1d6 Thunder damage. At 5th level the damage increases to 1d8, at 10th level 1d10, and at 15th level 1d12.
We Like It Loud!
Also at 3rd level, you are able to imbue your strikes with the wild magic that amps up your music. As a Reaction, when you or one of your allies hit with a melee attack, you can expend one Bardic Inspiration die and deal thunder damage equal to the number rolled on that die to the creature struck.
Extra Attack
Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Sucker Punch!
If you make two successful Unarmed attacks in one round, you may make a third unarmed attack as a Bonus Action
Break the Chains!
At 6th level, angry at the endless manipulation and oppression of society, you have found a way to aid others in freeing themselves from those chains.
When a creature you see casts an Enchantment or Illusion spell on an ally within 60 feet of you, and when that ally can hear you, you can use your reaction to expend a Bardic Inspiration die to interrupt the spell as if casting counterspell. When used against a spell of 4th level or higher, you may roll the die spent and add that to the required check.
There Will Be No Peaceful Revolution
At 14th level, you can rile your companions up in battle, temporarily freeing them from their own limitations. You can empower up to 3 friendly creatures that can hear you and that are no more than 30 feet away from you. Your empowered allies can use their reaction to make an unarmed strike attack, dealing 2d4 + your Charisma modifier Thunder damage, and can then move up to have their speed without provoking opportunity attacks. Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
