Base Class: Bard

Bard of the College of Vision have honed a superior set of eyes they can use on the battlefield. These eyes give them the edge in combat, exploring the world and whilst interacting with the people within it. They have a tenacity not many bards have for the arcane and learning. They wish to know the secrets of the world and will stop at nothing to discover it's mysteries. Their eyes are not only a blessing but a curse, frequent use of them will damage the users psyche, but that isn't enough to stop them.

When you join the College of Vision your eyes become your spell casting focus

Your develop superior spellcasting, granting access to the wizard spell list.

You can continue to use your enchanting eyes and eternal blaze even when you're out of bardic inspiration at the cost of 1d8 psychic damage.

 

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Vision at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with arcana and perception. You also gain proficiency with rapiers and medium armour. 

Enchanting Eyes

Also at 3rd level, you learn how to use your enchanting eyes to distract, confuse, and otherwise sap the confidence and competence of others. When you are targeted by a creature you can see within 60 feet of you that makes an attack roll against you, you can use your enchanting eyes.

As a reaction to an attack against you you may do one of two things..

- Spend a use of bardic inspiration to increase your AC by 2. Additionally you can have the enemy roll a charisma saving throw contested against your spell save DC, if they fail your AC increases by 4.
- Spend one use of your bardic inspiration to cause the enemy to become under the influence of your enchantment. They must succeed on a charisma saving throw contested by your spell save DC or they have the fear condition for 1 round (At 10th level this effect makes the enemy incapacitated and can be used as a reaction to anyone being attacked within 60ft of you).

Eternal Blaze

At 6th level, as a bonus action, you can spend 1 bardic inspiration to set your one enemy on fire within 60ft. The target must succeed on a charisma saving throw contested by your save DC or be covered in eternal flames. They take 1d10 fire damage. On subsiquent turns they repeat the save at the end of their turn, failure results in a further 1d6 fire damage. 

Truesight

At level 14 your eyes are becoming more powerful, they have to ability to grant truesight while also giving you the edge in social interaction.

You can use your eyes to gain 200ft of truesight for one minute in every direction.

Additionally whenever another creature connects eyes with you you have advantage on all charisma checks against them. The target only avoids this if they know of your ability and succeed on an insight check contested by your spell save DC.

Once you have used one of these features you can't do so again until you have finished a short rest.
