Base Class: Bard
The bards of the Skysong, also known as the Voices of Maeve, are guardians and protectors of Amra's lore and history. Inspired by stories of heroes, gods, and legends, these bards are dedicated to preserving and passing on the knowledge of their ancestors through music, poetry, and song. The Skysong is a subtle and powerful form of magic, capable of inspiring and healing those who listen to its sacred melodies.
Sacred Melodies
At 3rd level, you learn to weave the magic of your stories and songs with the power of divinity. You learn two additional spells from any spell list of your choice (they do not have to be from the bard list), as long as they are of a level at which you can cast bard spells. These spells count as bard spells for you, but do not count toward the number of bard spells you know.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you join the College of Skysong at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Religion and History skills, if you don't already have it.
Inspirational Healing
At 3rd level, your holy melodies can heal the wounds and ease the suffering of your allies. When an ally spends one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to increase a skill, attack, or save roll, they may also regain hit points equal to the result of the inspiration die.
Shield of Celestial Song
At 6th level, you can create a magical shield of heavenly energy that protects your allies from enemy attacks. As a reaction when an ally within 30 feet of you is attacked, you can spend one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to interpose the shield. The attack has disadvantage, and if it misses, the ally regains hit points equal to half your bard level (rounded down).
Divine Resonance
At 14th level, your connection to the Skysong allows you to summon divine powers. You can spend one of your Bardic Inspiration dice as an action to grant yourself and allies within 30 feet of you a bonus on attack, saving, and ability rolls equal to your Charisma modifier for 1 minute. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
