Monk
Base Class: Monk

You have learned the ability to connect your body and mind into one force of resilience and determination. Nothing will stop you from completing your goals as your mental fortitude holds strong as you dismantle the forces of evil.

Self Motivation

Whenever you reduce a creature to zero hitpoints or roll a natural 20 on an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you regain 1 ki point.

Unbreakable Willpower

When you are dealt damage that would reduce your health to a value that is below or equal to 25 percent of your maximum health, you can use your reaction to enter a state of Unbreakable Willpower. If you were reduced to zero hitpoints, you are reduced to one hitpoint instead. For the next minute, you gain the following benefits:

  • At the start of each of your turns, you gain 1 ki point.
  • You have advantage on all attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws.
  • All of your melee attacks deal bonus damage equal to your proficiency bonus.

Once you use Unbreakable Willpower, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Last Stand

When you enter your state of Unbreakable Willpower, roll a number of martial arts die equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain a number of hitpoints equal to the total value rolled this way plus your wisdom modifier.

Fight Through the Pain

Whenever you recieve damage of any type, you can use your reaction and spend 2 ki points to gain resistance to that damage type until the start of your next turn. If you are in your state of Unbreakable Willpower, this feature only costs 1 ki point.

Transcendance

When you enter your state of Unbreakable Willpower, you regain all of your ki points. While you are in your state of Unbreakable Willpower, you become immune to all damage types and conditions, and your speed can't be reduced by magical affects or by being encumbered. At the end each of your turns, you lose 2 ki points. Whenever an attack roll or a spell with a target option from a hostile creature is made against you, you lose 1 ki point. If you ever run out of ki points while in your state of Unbreakable Willpower, your Unbreakable Willpower ends.
