Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians who walk the Path of Pyrathor's Flame have a deep connection to the fire titan that protects the region of Manajur. Their raw, unbridled rage is infused with the essence of fire, making them both terrifying and awe-inspiring in battle.
Flames of Pyrathor
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage ignites the air around you. When you enter a rage, all creatures within 5 feet of you take fire damage equal to half your barbarian level at the start of their turn. This damage represents the intense heat that radiates from you, scorching those who dare to get too close. Additionally, your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 1d4 fire damage. This bonus damage is a result of your weapons becoming superheated in your grasp, searing your foes with each successful strike.
Fiery Resilience
At 6th level, your affinity with fire hardens your body against its heat. You gain resistance to fire damage, reflecting your body's adaptation to the intense heat of your own flames. This resistance applies to all sources of fire damage, whether from a dragon's breath, a wizard's spell, or a mundane fire. Additionally, the extra fire damage dealt by your Flames of Pyrathor feature increases to 1d6. This increase represents your growing mastery over the flames you wield, allowing you to burn your enemies even more fiercely.
Heart of the Fire Titan
Upon reaching 10th level, you can channel the fiery breath of Pyrathor. As an action, you can force each creature in a 30-foot cone to make a Dexterity saving throw. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 6d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. This feature allows you to unleash a torrent of flame from your mouth, similar to the breath weapon of a dragon. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Pyrathor's Embrace
At 14th level, you can absorb the flames of your enemies to mend your wounds. When you take fire damage, you can use your reaction to regain hit points equal to half the fire damage dealt, up to a maximum of half your barbarian level. This feature represents your ability to draw energy from the flames that harm you, using it to heal your wounds and keep fighting. Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again. This limitation reflects the strain this process puts on your body, requiring you to rest and recover before you can do it again.
