Base Class: Rogue
In the bustling cities of Castell, the City Watchers stand as the first line of defense against crime and disorder. These rogues are not just skilled in the art of stealth and subterfuge, but also in the art of observation and deduction. They are the unseen guardians of the city, always vigilant, always watchful.
Watchful Eye
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your keen senses are almost impossible to evade. As a bonus action, you can make a Wisdom (Perception) check to spot a hidden creature or object or to make out the details of a distant or obscured object, adding your proficiency bonus to the roll. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Urban Guile
Also at 3rd level, your knowledge of city life allows you to blend into crowds and slip past guards. You gain proficiency in the Deception and Stealth skills, and you double your proficiency bonus for any ability check you make that uses either of those skills.
Evasion
Starting at 9th level, your instinctive agility lets you dodge out of the way of certain area effects. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.
Slippery Mind
By 13th level, you have acquired greater mental strength. You gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws. If you already have this proficiency, you instead gain proficiency in Intelligence or Charisma saving throws (your choice).
Infiltrator
At 17th level, your mastery of stealth and deception allows you to move through a city unseen and unnoticed. You can take the Hide action as a bonus action on your turn. Also, when you are in an urban environment, you can move at a normal pace while using the Stealth skill without incurring the usual penalties.
