Base Class: Warlock
Alkebu Warlocks, or Ancestral Bonds, are warlocks whose abilities and powers come from their connection to the ancestral spirits of the elements. These warlocks are revered and feared in equal measure, as they can harness the forces of nature and use their elemental abilities to protect themselves and their allies, or unleash the fury of the elements on their enemies. This Warlock subclass offers an interesting and thematic option for players seeking a deeper connection to the ancient and natural forces of the world of Amra.
Expanded Spell List
The Alkebu Ancestor lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Ancestral Pattern
At 1st level, you make a pact with a powerful ancient spirit, associated with one of the four elements: earth, water, fire, or air. This ancient pattern provides you with abilities and spells related to your element.
Elemental Armor
Starting at 6th level, you can call upon the protection of your ancestral patron to surround yourself in elemental armor. As a bonus action, you can spend a warlock spell slot to gain resistance to a type of damage related to your element for 1 hour. The resistance is as follows, based on your pattern:
- Earth: piercing, slashing, or bludgeoning damage
- Water: cold damage
- Fire: fire damage
- Air: thunder or lightning damage
Elemental Mastery
At 10th level, you gain a greater understanding of your element and can more easily manipulate it. You gain one of the following abilities based on your pattern:
- Earth: You can move through earth or stone without reducing your movement speed.
- Water: You can breathe underwater and gain a swimming speed equal to your movement speed.
- Fire: You can ignite or extinguish small fires at will, and your fire spell attacks ignore resistance to fire damage.
- Air: You can levitate up to 10 feet above the ground and move through the air at your movement speed.
Ancestral Pact Summons
At 14th level, you can summon a powerful elemental creature associated with your Ancestral Pattern. As an action, you can spend a warlock spell slot to summon an elemental of a challenge rating equal to or less than your warlock level. The elemental is friendly to you and your companions and obeys your commands. It remains for 1 hour, until it drops to 0 hit points, or until you dismiss it as a bonus action. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
