Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

You have developed your skills for the purpose of entertaining a crowd.

Martial Cunning

Starting at 3rd level, your training in gladiatorial combat allows you to fight effectively with any weapon. You gain proficiency with Martial Weapons, and in addition, you gain a new way to use your Sneak Attack with them.

Once per turn, when you hit a target with a Martial Weapon that would otherwise trigger Sneak Attack, you can expend your use of it to deal the target a Harrying Blow, making that target easier to hit. Until the start of that creature's next turn, all attack rolls made against that creature will have advantage. (A creature that would be immune to Stun is also immune to this effect.)

Stage Fighting

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you learn how to make your fighting style a spectacle and control your own space, allowing you access to a number of special maneuvers.

Shoulder Check - On your turn, if you make a melee weapon attack against a creature, you can then use the Shove action as a Bonus Action to push the target 5 feet away from you.

Lockdown - Using your Action, you make a grapple check against an enemy to interlock your weapon with theirs. On a successful attempt, both you and your target become unable to take Actions, Bonus Actions. or Reactions to attack. The grapple ends when your target succeeds a check to break the grapple, chooses to drop their weapon, or when you take damage from another creature. Alternatively, you can choose to end the grapple at the start of your turn, or else spend your turn maintaining the grapple.

Willing Target - When you are targeted for a Melee Attack, you can use your reaction to intentionally make yourself easier to hit in order to catch your opponent's off guard. You suffer a -3 penalty to your AC for this attack to gain advantage on the next attack you make against the triggering enemy on your next turn. (You must choose to use this ability when the attack is made and before you know if it would hit normally or not.)

Pincer Attack

At 9th level, you learn to take advantage of the openings your allies create in your adversaries during combat. Whenever a hostile creature within 5 feet of you takes damage resulting from an attack roll, you can use your reaction to also make a melee weapon attack against that creature. This attack can benefit from Sneak Attack even if you have already used it on another attack this round.

Pressing the Advantage

Starting at 13th level, you learn to capitalize on your successes to greater effect. Once on your turn, when you reduce an enemy creature to 0 hit points, you can immediately move up to 15ft and make another attack as part of the same attack action.

Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Champion of the Arena

Beginning at 17th level, your skills as a gladiator reach their peak, and you learn to power through your injuries to keep the fight going. Once per long rest, you can gain a number of temporary hit points equal to 3d8 plus your constitution modifier.
