They have honed their skills to channel the power of their life essence, using it to enhance their stealth, agility, and combat prowess. Sanguine Shadow Rogues walk a delicate path between light and darkness, harnessing the power of blood and utilizing a unique resource known as blood points
Blood Points

Hemocharge
As a bonus action, you can spend a Blood Point to gain temporary hit points equal to your Rogue level plus your Dexterity mod. These temporary hit points last until you finish a short or long rest.
Blood Strike
When you hit a creature with a finesse (May switch finesse for something that suits your character) or ranged weapon attack, you can spend a Blood Point to deal an additional 1d6 necrotic damage. Additionally, you can spend 2 Blood Points to perform a powerful Blood Strike, adding an extra weapon damage die of your choice to the attack.
Sanguine Edge
As a sanguine Shadow Rogue, you have honed your mastery over blood manipulation to the point where you can manifest a weapon made of blood. As an action you can spend a number of Blood Points to summon a Bloodblade. The Bloodblade is a finesse melee weapon that you are proficient with and its damage is determined by your rogue level. The number or Blood Ponts you must spend to manifest the Blood blade and the corresponding damage are as follows:
- 1 Blood Point: 1d6 slashing damage
- 2 Blood Points: 1d8 slashing damage
- 3 Blood Points: 1d10 slashing damage
The Bloodblade manifests for 1 minute or until you dismiss it as a bonus action. While the Blodblade is active, it sheds dim light in a 10-foot radius. You can also choose to infuse the blade with your own blood, using the Blood Strike ability to deal additional necrotic damage.
Blood Bound Resistance
Sanguine Shadow Rogues have developed a resistance to bleeding and possess a heightened control over their own blood. You have advantage on saving throws against effects that would cause bleeding or blood related conditions such as poison or disease.
Blood Veil
Your mastery over blood manipulation allows you to create a protective barrier known as the Blood Veil. As an action, you can spend 4 blood points to envelop yourself in a swirling cloak of blood that grants you several benefits:
- Enhanced Defense: While the Blood Veil is active you gain a +2 bonus to your AC.
- Blood Absorption: Any time a creature within 10 feet of you starts its turn or moves into the area, you can use your reaction to spend 2 Blood Points and siphon blood from that creature. Roll a d6 and regain hit points equal to the number rolled. This ability can be used once per round, but not more than once per creature's turn.
- Terrifying Presence: The sight of your blood veil can strike fear into your enemies. Any hostile creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 +your proficiency bonus +your dex mod). On a failed save the creature becomes frightened of you until its next turn.
