Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Not all experimentation has ended in the Bellatori program. These are the oddities. Psionics, abilities to manipulate elements, abjurations of other enhancements.

You are Peculiaris Patronum Pomare. Some how, some way, your enhancement has triggered a deep and profound connection to the god of Üskar, Pomare themself. Pomare's divine fire granting you tremendous power unlike any other Bellatori. Or, at least, that's what you believe. Whether or not you've actually contacted another entity who claims to be Pomare, or possibly completely insane is unknown. But you truly believe that Pomare smiles upon you, and only you.

Expanded Spell List

Pomare lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Pomare's Wrath

Starting at 1st level, your Eldritch Blast has become enhanced with Pomare's wrath. When you successfully hit a creature with your Eldritch Blast, that target gains a weakness to fire damage till the end of your next turn. If the enemy is resistant to fire damage, they lose their resistance, but do not gain a weakness. If they are completely immune to fire damage, they become simply resistant.

Phoenician Form

Starting at 6th level, you gain the ability to become like the Great Phoenix yourself. You may spend an action to explode in a burst of flame, revealing a transformation resembling that of a fiery bird of prey. For one minute, large, blazing wing adorn your back, and your eyes glow a bright red as flames harmlessly coat your form, granting you additional protection along with changing your appearance.

  • You gain a flight speed equal to your movement speed.
  • You gain immunity to fire damage.
  • When any creature attempts to enter within 5 feet of you, it must make a Constitution saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency modifier + your Charisma modifier. On a failure the creature is buffeted by your flames, and is unable to complete it's movement.
  • Any creature that begins it's turn within 5 feet of you takes damage equal to your Charisma modifier.
  • Any spells you cast that deal fire damage automatically deal damage equal to the maximum number on the dice.

You can exit this form any time as a bonus action. The state also ends when you become unconscious. When you exit this form you gain a level of exhaustion, and you cannot enter this form again until you have taken a Long Rest.

Phoenix Resurrection

Starting at 10th level, you defy death just as the phoenix. When you drop to zero hit points, a fiery explosion erupts around you, dealing 8d6 fire damage to any creatures within 5 feet of you. Afterwards, your hit points return to max. You can only use this feature once per long rest.

Complete Perfection Under Pomare

Starting at 14th level, when you roll initiative you may enter Phoenician Form as a free action. When you do, you remain in the form until combat ends. When you exit the form, you no longer gain a level of exhaustion.
