Base Class: Monk
The Way of the Stone Pasture is commonly practiced by those who live in mountainous or other hazardous terrains as a means to navigate the gnarled landscape and to protect oneself from the perils that lie within. Orders of the Way of the Stone Pasture are commonly a collection of weathered travelers that, when their travels are complete, pass their knowledge down to their children or their community. A Way of the Stone Pasture monk is a sullen or laconic, saying little, yet speaking more through action than words, and though they may come in various shapes and sizes, they exude an air of reliability and fortitude.
Mountain Stance Technique
When you spend ki to use Patient Defense, on top of its given benefits, you also gain advantage on any effects that would knock you prone either magically or non-magically. Additionally, if you are affected by a spell or ability that would cause you to be prone, you may instead spend 2 ki points to ignore the prone condition and stay standing. This means that you can use this feature when you are about to be knocked prone but not to immediately stand from an already prone position.
Iron Heel Technique
You gain a climbing speed equal to your base walking speed. If you are a creature who already poses a climbing speed, you simply add your base walking speed and climbing speed together, rounded down.
Unyielding Blow
You may spend 2 ki points on a single strike that causes the target to make a Constitution save or be pushed 15ft and knocked prone. If the target makes their save they resist the push but still takes the damage from the attack. If a target that is immune to the prone condition may still take the damage and be pushed but not knocked prone.
Shattering Stance Technique
Within a 15ft radius centered on you. You may spend 3ki points slamming your foot into the ground causing all creatues within that radius to make a Dexterity savingthrow or be knocked prone and take 4d8 points of force damage. Creatures that are immune to the prone condition still take the damage without being prone. You also gain immunity to the prone condition.
