Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

Tenets of the Bloodsworn:

1. Bloodlust: You revel in the chaos of battle and the spilling of blood. You must always seek out worthy opponents and engage in combat whenever the opportunity arises. The thirst for battle and violence fuels your power.

2. Unstoppable Fury: You must never retreat from a fight, no matter the odds. Your commitment to chaos demands that you press forward in the face of danger, showing no fear or hesitation. You gain strength from adversity.

3. Trophy of Skulls: After every battle, you must claim the skulls of fallen enemies as trophies of your conquests. These trophies serve as offerings to Khorne and symbols of your dedication to the path of bloodshed.

4. Ancestral Honor: You must honor your ancestors and predecessors who have also embraced the power of chaos and Khorne. Their spirits guide and empower you in your journey, and you must carry on their legacy.

5. Blood Magic: You must harness the chaotic energies of blood to fuel your abilities. You may use your own blood or that of your enemies to cast spells and channel your divine powers. This reflects your willingness to sacrifice and embrace the brutality of your nature.

Channel Divinity: Blood Frenzy

Starting at 3rd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to invoke a Bloodlust Surge upon a creature within 15 feet of you that can see and hear you. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your paladin spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature becomes consumed by bloodlust for 1 minute. During this time, the creature must use its movement to approach and attack the nearest enemy it can see, using the most damaging means at its disposal.

Aura Of Carnage

Aura Of Carnage You emit an aura of bloodlust, always searching for the next kill to sate your endless hunger for battle. When an enemy within 10 feet of you dies, you regain one expended hit die.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Infernal Resilience

At 15th level, you gain resistance to fire and necrotic damage, reflecting your attunement to the chaotic essence of Khorne. Additionally, you can spend a hit die as a bonus action to regain hit points, mimicking the sacrifice of blood to restore your vitality. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of once), and you regain expended uses after finishing a long rest.

Avatar of Khorne

At 20th level, you become an embodiment of the Blood God's wrath. Once per long rest, as an action, you can transform into a fearsome Avatar of Khorne for 1 minute. While in this form, you gain the following benefits:

  • You have resistance to all damage except psychic.
  • Your melee weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18-20.
