Druid
Base Class: Druid

Not all druids protect the lands or seas, some stalk the woods, driven by an insatiable hunger to commit the most vile of acts; such druids are known as wendigos, beings capable of taking uncanny forms of their previous victims.

Curse of the Wendigo

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you have suffered the curse of the Wendigo, the beast inside you writhes in agony at the simple touch of metal. while you wear or wield weapons, armour or accessories made primarily of metal ( eg. rings, shields, manacles) you suffer these negatives.

  • You cannot use wild shape
  • You do not add your proficiency to any attack rolls
  • You gain disadvantage on every ability check

These negatives disappear on the same turn as the offending items are removed, additionally prolonged exposure could result in exhaustion should the DM rule it.

Boon of the Wendigo

Starting at 2nd level, you gain a portion of the Wendigo's uncanny abilities. over the course of a short or long rest you may commit a ritualistic eating of a non-humanoid creature slain within 24 hours. this ritual lends you supernatural insight into the creature allowing you to wild shape into this creature following the wild-shape rules in the table below. Additionally you gain a number of additional wild-shape charges equal to half your constitution modifier (minimum 1)

Naturally Tough

Being unable to wear armour has made your skin grow thicker. Beginning at 3rd level, you gain a bonus to your unarmored AC equal to your wisdom modifier. Additionally you gain +2 to AC while wild-shaped.

impetuous claws

Starting at 6th level, your attacks in wild-shaped form count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Warped mind

When you reach 10th level, you can’t be charmed or frightened.

Uncanny Visage

When you reach 14th level, creatures of the natural world sense  that something is off about you and become hesitant to attack you. When a beast or plant creature attacks you, that creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your druid spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature must choose a different target, or the attack automatically misses. On a successful save, the creature is immune to this effect for 24 hours.

The creature is aware of this effect before it makes its attack against you.
