Base Class: Bard
College of Law
Corpus Juris
When you join the College of Law at 3rd level, you can read all writing, gain proficiency in history, and all checks made regarding legislation, civil documentation, and court rulings are made with advantage.
Quid Pro Quo
At 3rd level, you can expend a 1st level spell slot as an action to deal 1d6 necrotic damage to a creature you can see within 60 ft, and gain a number of hit points equal to the damage dealt. When you use this feature to expend a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
Contempt of Court
At 6th level, you learn how to use your legal prowess to will others to a standstill. When a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll, you can use your reaction to expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration, and cause the creature to make a CON save or be stunned, immediately ending its turn. You can only choose to use this after the creature has made an attack roll, but before the DM decides whether it succeeds or fails. The creature is immune if it can’t hear you.
Cross Examination
You know the zone of truth as a ritual, and creatures have disadvantage against the save made any time it is cast.
Onus Probandi
Once per round, you may use your reaction to reflect a spell targeting only you back at the caster. When targeted by a spell, make a spellcasting check (DC 10 + spell level). On a success, you do not suffer the effects of the spell and instead the spell is reflected back as if you had cast it. The original caster becomes the target and must make any relevant saving throws against its own Spell DC.

Posted Nov 13, 2019Corpus Juris is too powerful. Being able to read *every* language right off the bat is broken. I would alter it to 'you learn two additional languages of your choice'.
Quid Pro Quo is also OP, as there is no other 'vampiric' spell that heals the full amount of damage. The tradition is that you heal half the damage dealt, and this should be balanced accordingly. The scaling of damage already matches that of Vampiric Touch, so there's no issues there.
Onus Probandi is interesting, but again too powerful. Once per round is far too strong; once per Long Rest would be a much more appropriate recharge time for such a potentially powerful ability. You also didn't mention at what level this becomes available; I would suggest it should be higher than 10, as spell reflection should be a fairly advanced skill.
I love where this is going, and I'd been playing with a similar idea. It just needs some tweaking and tuning.
