Base Class: Monk
Some monastic traditions fast to achieve enlightenment, but others seek to unlock their true potential through a balanced diet. Using Soup as the ultimate representation bringing Harmony to Chaos a Monk of the Soup Soul seeks to practice taking many different and diffcult ingredients and making them work in tandem. Much like an adventuring party, ingredients by themselves can achieve some but ingredients combined working to enhance each other can bring about enlightened flavor!
Bonus Proficiencies
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Nature skill if you don’t already have it. As you learn the best ingredents from the land. You also gain proficiency with cook's utensils if you don’t already have it.
Flow Like Soup
At 3rd level, you learn how to move and bend like liquid broth after your Flurry of Blows. Whenever you use Flurry of Blows, you gain the benefit of the Disengage action, and your walking speed increases by 10 feet until the end of the current turn.
Noodly Appendage
Starting at 6th level, you can move in sudden, swaying ways, and your arms become deceptively long. Spend 2 Ki Points to gain the following benefits.
Until the end of your next turn your unarmed attack range increases by 5ft.
While in this state, you can use your reaction to make an unarmed strike on a creature who comes within your attack range.
Restorative Soup
Starting at 11th level, your soup restores the body and warms the soul. You can use 1 ki point to cast Lesser Restoration without material components or the use of a spell slot. You use your Cook's Utensils as a spell casting focus.
Also, your whenever someone ingests your soup they gain 2d6 + your Wisdom modifier(minimum of 1) temporary hit points
Soup Mastery
At 17th level, You have been exposed to so many heat sources and ingredients that they pose little risk to you. You have mastered the art of soup. Your soup enriches mind and body better than many wise clerics.
- You gain resistance to acid damage and fire damage
- By spending 4 ki points you can cast greater restoration or heal without expending a spell slot, without preparing the spell, and without material components, provided you use soup as the spellcasting focus.
