Base Class: Wizard

The Order of the Solemn Scroll are masters of creating magic through the written word. called Scroll Weavers they use Spell Scrolls to weave spells instead of the traditional form of casting, Unable to command the Aether as most wizards do a scroll weaver uses words of power in an ancient secret tongue, the very one that was used to create the universe.

Scroll Crafter's Quill

2nd-level Order of the Solemn Scroll feature

As a bonus action, you can magically create a Tiny quill in your free hand. The magic quill has the following properties:

  • The quill doesn’t require ink. When you write with it, it produces ink in a color of your choice on the writing surface.
  • The time you must spend to create a spell scroll equals 2 minutes per spell level if you use the quill for the transcription.
  • You can erase anything you write with the quill if you wave the feather over the text as a bonus action, provided the text is within 5 feet of you.
  • You can use an action once per long rest to transcribe any spell of 2nd level or lower onto a piece of parchment once per day, the spell used in this feature is stored into the page as if you cast it requiring no components to do so. The Scroll can then be used by anyone as a bonus action to cast the stored spell by speaking the command word. you can store a number of these scrolls equal to twice your proficiency bonus.

This quill disappears if you create another one or if you die.

Scroll Weaver

2nd-level Order of the Solemn Scroll feature

You gain proficiency with calligraphers supplies or one other tool of your choice if you already have proficiency. You can create a number of spell scrolls equal to your number of spell slots each day. These scrolls must be of the same level as the spell slot but can be written as upcast if the spell is capable of being cast at higher than its base level. The Scrolls you create can be inscribed with prerequisites that activate the spell under certain conditions of you choosing else you can activate them as an action. The Scrolls are immune to all damage and never age but turn to dust if you die. Creating a scroll takes a number of minutes equal to the level of the spell and a successful Arcana check equal to 8 + the level of the spell, on a failure the scroll and all its materials are lost along with the spell slot. At level 10 you can enchant your scrolls to be activated by others instead of yourself.
