Base Class: Paladin
The oath of the pierced is one burdened with duty of bearing the nails for their church. They excel in singling out an important figure in enemy formations and hammering away at their defenses for their allies to exploit, they find weak spots to focus on or make one themselves in the process exposing some of their own. Taking the oath of the pierced makes these sort rely on their allies to make use of the weaknesses they have exposed.

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Nagel dur Qual. When you use divine smite you can expend your channel divinity to covert the radiant energy into gruesome nails that pierce you and the target. The target and your own Armor class is reduced by an amount equal to the level of the spell slot used in divine smite for 1 minute or until you dismiss it as a Bonus Action. Even after you or the target dies this effect does not disappear on either.
Burden of the Pierced. As an action, you can choose a creature within 10 feet of you, they must make a constitution saving throw, on a failed save divine nails appear around the target, pierce them and bind them in place, restraining them for one minute. At the end of their turn the target can repeat this save to remove the effect
If they are already restrained, on a failed save their to hit rolls gets a penalty equal to your proficiency bonus, this effect does not disappear even after the restrained condition is removed from the target. At the end of their turn the target can repeat this save to remove the effect.

At 18th level, you may make an attack of opportunity on creatures that enter this aura
Festhämmern
Beginning at Level 15 as a bonus action at the end of your turn you may choose a creature within 30 feet of you that is under the effects of your channel divinity or spell to give yourself and that creature disadvantage on saving throws and ability checks of an ability score of your choice until the start of your next turn. You can use this feature once every long rest
Fanatic Fervor
Your devotion to the greater good exceeds all instinct for self-preservation, as an action you can enter a state of Fanatic Fervor that lasts for 1 minute and lasts even after death. When you use Fanatic Fervor you may choose one or more nails to bind yourself to, limiting your abilities.
- Nail of Ignorance: You may not use spell slots to cast spells.
- Nail of Sloth: When you take the attack action you can only make one attack.
- Nail of Weakness: Your armor class is reduced by 5.
- Nail of Punishment: At the start of your turn, you take 6d10 necrotic damage.
When you enter this state and as a bonus action on your following turns you may impose your fervor to a creature within 10 feet of you, they must make a charisma saving throw against your channel divinity DC or be subjected to one of the Nails you are suffering from. If they fail the save by 5 or more, they suffer from two of you chosen Nails until Fanatic Fervor ends.
