Combat Medic

The Combat Medic's skills are honed on the battlefield, where swift actions and keen insight save lives. Rooted in instinct and experience rather than studied knowledge, these rogues are invaluable allies in the heat of combat.

Surgical Precision

Starting at 3rd level when you choose this subclass, your intuitive grasp of anatomy allows you to administer medical treatment with utmost effectiveness. When you use a healer's kit to stabilize a dying creature, it also gains hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier + your rogue level.

Battlefield Triage

At 3rd level, your instincts guide your hands and eyes, allowing you to make quick medical decisions. You gain proficiency with the Medicine skill if you don’t already have it. Additionally, you can use your Cunning Action to perform a Medicine check, use an item from your healer's kit, or administer a potion to yourself or an ally.

Resilient Aid

Starting at 9th level, your guidance and healing presence uplift your allies. When you use a healer's kit or administer a potion to an ally with your Battlefield Triage feature, they gain temporary hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier + half your rogue level.

Anatomical Expertise

At 13th level, your inherent understanding of living beings lets you maximize your healing efforts. When you use a spell or ability that restores hit points to a creature, you can reroll any 1s or 2s on the dice used to determine the healing amount, but you must use the new rolls.

Emergency Resuscitation

At 17th level, with a keen sense of the life force in your allies, you can pull them back from the brink. As a reaction when an ally within 30 feet of you drops to 0 hit points but is not killed outright, you can rush to them (if necessary, moving up to your speed without provoking opportunity attacks) and bring them back to consciousness. The ally regains hit points equal to half their hit point maximum and gains a level of exhaustion. After using this ability, you can't use it again until you complete a long rest.
