Monks of the way of the Tukúman Dancer learn to fight using ribbons empowered with ki and their unique dances tecniques. Tukúman Art is characterized by  its dances with ribbon fabrics in which the colors of the rainbow prevail, throu this art monks worship communion and traditional choreographies letting their ki flow over themself and others.

Tukúman Weapon

Those monks that follow this tradition may wield dance ribbons as whips,  you gain proficiency with the whip. 

Folkloric Dance

If you are wielding a whip in at least one hand, you can spend 2 KI points as bonus action to start a Folkloric Dance which lasts for 1 minute and gives you the following benefits:

  • As a bonus action (and as part of the same action to activate Folkloric Dance) you can make a weapon attack with a whip you're wielding.
  • When you use the flurry of blows feature, you can replace both unarmed strikes with weapon attacks made with a whip you're wielding.
  • You can use Patient Defense feature without spending KI points.

Folkloric Dance ends early if you don't spend half of your movement speed on your subsequent turns or if you are incapacitated or if you no longer wield at least one whip.

Ribbon Choreographer

You learn how to lead ki throu your allies and even your enemies using the art of Tukúman. Starting at 6th level you gain Choreographies and they can only be used when you are performing a Folkloric Dance.

Choreography: Vals.
As a bonus action you can spend 1 ki point to grant a willing creature within the range of your whip the Dodge condition, the affected creature can use their reaction to use half of your movement speed to move.

Choreography: Flow.
When you fall prone, you can spend 1 ki point to use your reaction to stand stand up and force a creature within the range of your whip to do a Dexterity Saving Throw or fall prone, if the creature fall prone you can make a weapon attack with the whip.

Choreography: Malambo.
As a action you can spend 1 ki point to perform challenging dance that calls a duel forcing a creature at 30 ft. from you to make a Wisdom Saving Throw, on a failed save the creature is forced to target only you until the end of your next turn.

Any Means Necessary

Your practice in the art of Tukúman allow you to perform multiple moves in battle beyond your capabilities. While performing the Folkloric Dance, once per turn you can take an additional bonus action. If you use Flurry of Blows or Step of the Wind with this bonus action they will use 2 ki points instead of 1.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Messerer Style

You become now a master of the Tukúman arts improving your dancing skills. Starting at 17th level your proficiency bonus is doubled for Performance checks.

When you activate Folkloric Dance you can choose to spend 5 ki points instead to activate Messerer Style to improve your Folkloric Dance.
While using Messerer Style you gain the following benefits:

• The reach property of your whip increases 10 ft.
• You don't provoke oppotunity attacks and you can move across difficult terrain without expending extra movement.
• You can use the Deflect Missile feature on ranged spell attacks, you can also protect a creature within the range of your whip with Deflect Missile.

You also benefits from Folkloric Dance and this feature follows its rules.
