Base Class: Monk
Warriors of Smoke have learned to wield the haze of smoke as an extension of their bodies. Weaving and flowing like the clouds they summon, monks of this tradition are as elusive as they are vicious on the battlefield.
Level 3: Summon Smoke
As an action on your turn, you can expend one focus point to create a cloud of smoke centered on a point within 60 feet of you that you can see. This cloud takes up a 20-foot sphere, and targets within this sphere are blinded until they exit the sphere, but you are unaffected. While inside your own smoke, you gain half cover. This smoke cloud lasts for 1 minute or until it is dispelled either by you as a bonus action or by a strong enough wind (such as one created by Gust of Wind).
Level 6: Ashen Flow
Your connection to the ever shifting nature of smoke deepens, granting you the following benefits.
Ashen Flow: While within a cloud of smoke, you are able to pass through the space occupied by another creature without expending extra movement.
Soot Strike: When you use your flurry of blows and hit, you can choose to replace one of your strikes with a concentrated blast of smoke, blinding that target until the start of your next turn.
Level 11: Hazy Relocation
While within a cloud of smoke, you can use your bonus action to teleport yourself and a number of willing targets equal to your wisdom modifier to any other cloud of smoke you can see within 120 feet of you. Additionally, you and your targets become Invisible until the start of your next turn or until they leave the cloud.
Level 17: Smoke in the Wind
As a magic action on your turn, you can expend 3 focus points to transform yourself and a number of willing creatures equal to your Wisdom modifier into clouds of smoke for one hour. Targets affected by this spell gain the benefits of the Gaseous Form spell but with a flying speed of 40 feet. Additionally, while in this form, targets retain their ability to attack while transformed, though the only attacks they can make are unarmed strikes or spell attacks with a range of touch. These attacks ignore distance so long as both you and your target are inside a cloud of smoke. The effect ends on the target if it drops to 0 Hit Points or if it takes a Magic action to end the effect on itself.
