Base Class: Barbarian
Warlords are fierce fighters who use their skill in the art of killing to impose fear onto others and inspire allies to fight equally relentlessly. Warlords are ferocious hot heads who demand fear, respect, and loyalty and are willing to instill those emotions in others by any means necessary.
Battle ready
Used to being constantly surrounded by danger, both on and off the battlefield. You cannot be surprised so long as you are conscious and, other creatures don’t gain advantage on attack rolls against you as a result of being unseen by you.
In addition once per long rest you can channel all of your rage into one attack, you can use this ability while raging to automatically deal a critical hit on your next attack, doing so ends your rage immediately after dealing damage. This cannot be prevented by features such as persistent rage.
Masterful Killer
A warlords defining trait is their ability to take life, and the ability to take life in the most spectacular ways, as if killing was an art form. Able to utilize nearly all manner of weapons to their fullest potential and donning armor of extravagant grace and presence.
Warlords are able to apply their rage bonus to dexterity based attacks such as thrown weapons and finesse weapons that are not ranged weapons such as bows, crossbows and firearms. furthermore, If a warlord is going to don armor, they ensure that is the most opulent and menacing armor possible. Warlords are able to still gain the benefits of rage and other features of this class, while wearing heavy armor.
Warlords are proficient in all types of armor.
Fighting Style
Take the "Fighting Initiate" feature--when choosing a fighting style a Warlord is limited to the following options: Great weapon fighting, dueling, two weapon fighting, and thrown weapon fighting.
Inspire Ferocity
You've learned that your ferocity in battle can inspire your allies to fight equally relentlessly as you. when an ally within 30ft of you hits with a melee weapon attack, you can use your reaction to add your rage damage bonus to their damage roll. The additional damage type is same as the damage being inflicted by the allies weapon attack.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus.
Until the End
A true warrior will sooner fall in battle than retreat, a true warlord will sooner die of exhaustion in battle than be killed by a foe.
As a true warlord, you can push your body past the normal limits of most people, when you fail a saving throw, including death saving throw, you can choose to endure a level of exhaustion instead to reroll the saving throw. When you reroll using this feature you must use the new roll regardless of the outcome.
