Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Joy is a sacred emotion. Gods of life, peace, and good fortune ask of their priests to spread joy throughout the land. To feel happiness is to be blessed, and Clerics of Joy work tirelessly to bring pleasure, health, and happiness wherever they go. Many Clerics of Joy take up other professions as artists, musicians, or dancers; Using their other talents to bring smiles and wellness to those around them.

Domain Spells

You gain domain spells at the cleric levels listed in the Joy Domain Spells table. See the Divine Domain class feature for how domain spells work.

Joyous Celebration

At 1st level, you make a point to bring levity to yourself and your allies. You empower those around you with every successful venture.

Whenever you or an allied creature within 60 feet of you succeeds on an attack roll, ability check, skill check, or saving throw, you may use your reaction to grant yourself and that creature a number of temporary hit points equal to 2d6 plus your Cleric level.

If this successful roll was the result of a natural 20, you and that creature also regain hit points equal to the temporary hit points rolled.

Delightful Presence

At 1st level, as an emissary for the gods of joy, your cheerful demeanor gives you a special kind of magnetic charm.

You may now add your Wisdom modifier to any Charisma-based skill checks you would make.

Channel Divinity: Elation

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to fill another creature with an empowering rush of positive emotions.

As a reaction after a creature you can see within 60 feet of you finishes their action, you may point your holy symbol at them and bolster them with positive joyous energy. Divine power washes over that creature and they make take an additional action on their turn.

Channel Divinity: Wave of Euphoria

At 6th level, you can use your Channel Divinity and the divine power of your god to bolster your allies with the unstoppable feeling of joy.

As an action on your turn, you raise your holy symbol to the sky and release a pulse of light filled with exuberant energies. You and a number of other creatures you can see within 30 feet of you, up to your Wisdom modifier, gain a number of temporary hit points equal to three times your Cleric level.

For 1 hour, any creature granted temporary hit points this way may remove 5 temporary hit points from their pool to add 1d4 to any roll. If the 1d4 is added to a damage roll, the additional 1d4 damage is radiant damage.

Revelry

Starting at 8th level, your joyful antics are like a parade on the battlefield. Once per turn when you would deal damage to a creature, you may choose to deal no damage and instead restore a number of hit points to yourself equal to the damage that would have been dealt.

Blissful Jubilation

Starting at 17th level, happiness flows from you like water from a river's mouth. When you or one of your allies succeed, the moment is met with such splendor that the magnificent sense of joy is empowering.

Whenever you or an allied creature within 60 feet of you that you can see rolls a natural 20, that creature restores hit points equal to twice your Cleric level and gains the following for 10 minutes:

  • Bonus +2 to Armor Class
  • Bonus 10 feet movement speed
  • Immunity to the frightened condition
  • Add 1d4 to attack rolls, saving throws, and skill check rolls
  • Add 2d8 radiant damage to all damage rolls
