Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

You have made a pact with the God of Power and Progress that grants you the ability to control the forward progressions of time.  Nothing is more important than moving forward, because it is only with eyes facing forward that the future can be made.  Be warned, though, to go forward at the appropriate pace, choosing when to speed up or slow down as needed.  Progress Warlocks spend their time building the world around them, fighting those that impede progress, and honing their skills.

Expanded Spell List

The Progressor lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Progress Expanded Spells
Spell Level Spells
1st feather fall, thunderwave
2nd spike growth, blur
3rd haste, slow
4th hallucinatory terrain, fabricate
5th mislead, cone of cold

Bonus Cantrips

At 1st level, you learn the shocking grasp and druidcraft cantrips. They count as warlock cantrips for you, but they don’t count against your number of cantrips known.

Time Distortion

At 1st level, you gain the ability to channel progress energy to distort time. You have points that you spend to fuel this distortion. The number of points equals 1 + your warlock level.

When you cast a spell or use an action with a time effect, you can use a point to double or half the time from the time modifier on the effect.  You can only apply this once per effect.

You regain all expended points when you finish a long rest.

Temporal Ward

Starting at 6th level, you can create a ward around you that affects the movement speed of creatures in it. You can choose any number of creatures up to your Charisma modifier within 60 feet of you to apply this effect.  You may either double the movement speed or cut it in half.  If the targeted creature is not an ally, they must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC.

Inspiring Dreams

Starting at 10th level, you gain a Progress Inspiration die, a d10, after you finish a short or long rest, feeling rejuvenated and ready to progress. Additionally, choose a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier you can see at the end of the rest to share you rejuvenation with. Those creatures each gain a Progress Inspiration die.

At Higher Levels: At level 15, your Progress Inspiration die becomes a d12.

Progress Overload

Starting at 14th level, your mastery of progress allows you to progress others' magic. When a creature within 60 ft of you begins to cast a spell you,  you can use your reaction to attempt to Counterspell them.  If Counterspell succeeds, the creature takes fire damage equal to 2d10 + your Charisma modifier, and it is stunned until the end of the current turn.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
