Bhaal's Bloodletters are rogues who serve the god of murder, Bhaal. They are skilled assassins who revel in chaos and death.
Spellcasting
Spellcasting
When you reach 3rd level, you gain the ability to cast spells. See Spells Rules for the general rules of spellcasting and the Spells Listing for the warlocks spell list.
Cantrips
You learn three cantrips of your choice from the warlock spell list. You learn another warlock cantrip of your choice at 10th level.
Spell Slots
The Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your warlock spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.
Spellcasting Ability
Your spell casting ability is charisma as you gain access to the warlock spell list
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your charisma modifier
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your charisma modifier
Death's Whisper
Starting at 3rd level, you can speak to the spirits of the deceased, gaining advantage on Investigation checks related to murders and death scenes.
Assassin's Mark
At 9th level, you can mark a target for death. Once per short rest, you can make a sneak attack against a target, and if it hits, it's an automatic critical hit.
Death's Embrace
At 13th level, you become resistant to necrotic damage, and you can use your reaction to reduce damage from a source you can see to 0 once per short rest.
Avatar of Bhaal
At 17th level, you can temporarily become an avatar of Bhaal, the god of murder. this last 1 minute, all you weapons count as magical, you gain an extra attack when making an attack using a finesse weapon and gain temporary HP equal to your con mod * 5
