Base Class: Sorcerer
Legends speak of a lineage forever marked by the touch of pestilence and decay, tracing their origins to a plague long forgotten. A wicked curse or a fateful encounter with a blighted realm seemed to originate this accursed bloodline, intertwining their essence with the very forces of plagues. As a Blightblood sorcerer, this tainted legacy courses through your veins, granting you a unique connection to the dark energies of diseases and toxins.
Blightblood Magic
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Blightblood Spells table. Each spell counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a necromancy or an enchantment spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.

Blighted Touch
Starting at 1st level, your tainted origin gives you a distinct awareness for pestilence that is nearby. You can always sense the presence and location of poisons, poisonous creatures, and diseases within 30 feet of you. You can also identify the kind of poison, poisonous creature, or disease in each case.
In addition, you learn the Poison Spray cantrip, which doesn’t count against your number of cantrips known.
Additionally at 3rd level, you can spend 1 sorcery point whenever you deal poison damage to a creature with a spell. The creature must succeed a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, they gain the poisoned condition until the start of your next turn.
Infectious Casting
Starting at 6th level, your sorcerous origin can infect your spells, contaminating the arcane within it.
When you cast a spell that deals damage, you can replace one of the damage types with poison damage.
Pestilent Form
Also at 6th level, your awareness for pestilence allows your body to reject certain diseases and toxins.
You are immune to foreign diseases and the poisoned condition, and you have resistance against poison damage.
Plagued Essence
At 14th level, the blight within your body is unstoppable, infecting any foe or obstacle in your path.
Whenever you use a Sorcerer feature or spell to deal poison damage or caused the poisoned condition, creatures of your choice that are normally immune to poison or the poisoned condition are resistant and/or have advantage on saves against them instead.
In addition, creatures of your choice that are normally resistant to poison or have advantage on saves against the poisoned condition are treated as if they had none.
True Pestilence
At 18th level, the blight within your body is immense, empowering your magic through those you poison. Whenever a creature is poisoned by one of your Sorcerer spells or features, you regain 1 sorcery point.
Additionally, whenever you deal poison damage with a spell, you can spend 5 sorcery points to have it deal maximum damage, instead of rolling.
