Bard
Base Class: Bard

utterly heretical, the teaching of the voice cannot be learned from a college; instead, one must find their own path on discovering the voice. However, the source of this remains contested. some gather the words of the ancient past, forgotten languages of power. Others, hear the whispers of being beyond the plane of gods and men. The path that language takes in one steeped in individuality, and also, in heresy.

Vocal Casting

When you take this subclass, you learn the secret to cast with nothing more than an incantation. All spells you cast have their somatic component removed, but always requires a verbal component. In addition, if that spell has a material component that does not have a gold cost associated with it, you may choose to remove it. Your spells cannot have their verbal component waived, such as with subtle spell, and cannot affect deafened creatures.

Unrelenting Force

Starting at 3rd level, when you cast a spell that deals damage, you may also cast thunderwave as a part of that spell, using the level of the spell you cast (the thunderwave still emanates from you). If you use your bardic inspiration on an enemy, you can plant a sound bomb on them. When the inspiration is expended, instead of it's normal effect, it explodes, as if the creature had cast thunderwave, except the spell only affects creatures of your choice, and the bardic die is added to the damage roll of the thunderwave. You may your your reaction to speak aloud a trigger word, which expends the bardic anyway.

Elemental Breath

Starting at 6th level, just like the dragons who's words create mighty attacks of breath, you also can use your voice to produce destruction. You are always under the effect of the Dragon's Breath spell, as long as you are not concentrating on another spell (though you do not require concentration to use it). The spell is considered the highest level you can cast, and instead of it's normal types, can only deal fire, lightning, thunder, and cold damage.

Th'um

At 6th level, you harness the power of the voice to greater effect. When you cast a spell with a limited amount of words allowed, such as Command or Sending, you get double the amount of words. Also, your spells word on creatures regardless on whenever or not they can understand your speech, and even on objects, if they are physically capable of doing what the spell states in it's effect.

Also, you have advantage of saving throws against spells with a verbal component that you can hear.

Words of Power

When you reach 14th level, you learn to enhance the words of power spoken. "Word" spells (spells with "word" in their title, discounting technicalities like "Sword") have their HP requirements, or dice rolled doubled for you, except damage dice. You may also treat spells you learn with magical secrets as word spells for the purposes of this ability. In addition, you learn the verbal technique for confusing your foes; you may make a deception check when casting a spell, against a creature's insight. On a success, they believe you to be casting another spell that you have prepared of any level. Creatures fooled in this way have disadvantage against the saving throw of your spell.
