Base Class: Cleric
The Bladesinger domain is very niche. It's flock represents those that seek to honor the gods they worship in song, dance, and battle. When in battle their fierce songs and the elegant dances grant powerful boons to the Bladesinger, and even to their allies. These devotees are some of the most skilled swordsmen (or women) in their respective worlds, often embarking on pilgrimages of mirth and mayhem, starting up extravagant parties, colorful festivals, or miraculous duels where ever they may travel. The Dark Ladies of Eiliestraee most often practice in this domain, honoring their lady and acting as a beacon of hope for the Drow with their masterful sword skill.

Training in War and Song
1st level-Bladesinger Domain Feature
You gain proficiency with one one-handed melee weapon of your choice.
You also gain proficiency in Performance if you don't have it already, and one musical instrument of your choice.
Bladesong
1st level-Bladesinger Domain Feature
You can invoke an elven magic called the Bladesong, provided that you aren’t wearing heavy armor or using a shield. It graces you with supernatural speed, agility, and focus.
You can use a bonus action to start the Bladesong, which lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are incapacitated, if you don heavy armor or a shield, or if you use two hands to make an attack with a weapon. You can also dismiss the Bladesong at any time (no action required).
While your Bladesong is active, you gain the following benefits:
- You gain a bonus to your AC equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of +1
).
- Your walking speed increases by 10 feet.
- You have advantage on Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks.
- You gain a bonus to any Constitution saving throw you make to maintain your concentration on a spell. The bonus equals your Wisdom modifier (minimum of +1
).
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.
Channel Divinity: Blessings of the Sword Dance
2nd level-Bladesinger Domain Feature
You use your Channel Divinity to enter a dance that sanctifies your weapon with your Bladesong.
You perform a 10 minute ritual that spends your Channel Divinity, where you plant a one-handed melee weapon that you are proficient with into the ground, and dance and sing around it. Magic will seep out from your body like a fine incense and swirl around you, joining the dance. Once the ritual is complete, the incense will swirl around your weapon, staining it with your magic.
Once the ritual is complete, if your weapon is not already magical it will count as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances, and also gains the following weapon properties: Finesse, Thrown (20,60), and Light. These benefits last until you finish your next long rest.
Channel Divinity: Rhythmic Song of the Bladesinger
6th level-Bladesinger Domain Feature
You spend your Channel Divinity to focus into an even more rhythmic and structured dance and song that bolsters your allies.
While your Bladesong is active, you may spend an action and your channel divinity to grant the effects of your Bladesong to any ally you can see within in 30ft. of you. The restrictions that apply to your Bladesong also apply to your ally, and the ally has to be able to understand a language you speak.
During the duration of your Bladesong, as a free action on your turn you may transfer this effect to a different ally within 30 ft. of you (the Bladesong's restrictions still apply).
Divine Strike
8th-level Bladesinger Domain feature
You gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with divine energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 force damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
Song of the Eternal Dance
17th level-Bladesinger Domain Feature
You have now crafted your magnum opus of song, dance, and blade. The very fabric of magic tingles and radiates around your bladesong.
While active, your bladesong now has the following additional features.
Hostile creatures within 60 ft. of you that cast a spell using a verbal component need to make a spell casting modifier check versus your spell save dc or waste the action, but not the spell slot, of the casting.
You gain a fly speed equal to your walking speed and can hover.
You gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
You get to add your wisdom modifier (minimum of +1) to your weapon and spell attack and damage rolls.
You ignore the effects of difficult terrain, automatically succeed any acrobatics checks to resist being grappled, and cannot suffer the prone, paralyzed, or restrained conditions.
Allies under the effects of Channel Divinity: Rhythmic Song of the Bladesinger do not gain these additional features.
